Ben’s first experience with Chiropractic care as a teenager was when he developed a knee injury. After seeing numerous sports physicians and allied health professionals he realized that chiropractic was exactly what he needed which is were his interest began. However, Ben’s passion for health and well being started well before he was a Chiropractor. Before qualifying from University with a Masters in Clinical Chiropractic he was a Personal Trainer focusing on not just general health and fitness, but a specific focus on Rehabilitation. His experiences as a personal trainer motivated him to try CrossFit and to become a Sports Chiropractor.
Ben continues to learn and grow as a Chiropractor by always learning new techniques to better assess, diagnose and treat various performance limitations and restrictions.
So far Bens’ further studies include:
- Applied Kinesiology (AK)
- Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)
- Active Release Technique (ART)
- Musculoskeletal Dry Needling
- Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM)
- Kinesio-taping ( Rock Tape)
- Level 1 CrossFit Trainer
